Community Grants

About our Community Grants

Contribution and participation in our region is a key priority for Macarthur Credit Union. We offer productive support in many ways including Sponsorships and Community Grants.

Our aim is to add value and build strong partnerships with the organisations we contribute to.

Every year we receive many requests for support. To help us determine which requests will be allocated a Community Grant, we consider the following:

  • Does the Grant project align with our values?
  • Will support present any risk to our reputation?
  • Does the applicant have any current business or personal connection with Macarthur Credit Union?
  • How many people will benefit from the project?
  • Will the benefits of the project be enjoyed within our region of operation?
  • Are there promotional and/or media opportunities for Macarthur Credit Union?
  • Is there an opportunity to build a mutually beneficial and ongoing relationship?
  • Are we offered naming rights?
  • Is there the capacity for credit union staff and/or director involvement?
  • Will the project be completed within 12 months?
